Why is silk better for my skin?
Silk is a natural anti-microbial fiber that does not clog pores – making it the best option for your skin! It helps keep your skin hydrated and wicks away moisture, which helps prevent pimples, blackheads, and breakouts. Our silk masks have become a popular item to prevent maskne.

What is maskne?
Maskne is a new term that refers to "mask acne". Maskne occurs when sweat, oil and bacteria are trapped on your skin while wearing a mask, which creates breakouts. Using a gentle and anti-microbial material for your mask, like silk, helps prevent breakouts and is more gentle to your skin.

Can I wash my mask?
Our silk products are washable! However, silk is a delicate material. We recommend hand washing with cold water and a gentle detergent. For an easier method, use our Silkkin Laundry bags and machine wash them with a gentle detergent.

My mask is wrinkly after washing it. What can I do?
Like other fabrics, silk can get wrinkles from washing or folding it. You can use a steamer to remove the wrinkles.



When will my order ship?

Orders are normally shipped within 1-2 business days, unless otherwise specified on the product page (e.g. sold out items may be on backorder). US orders are shipped via USPS First Class Package.

All sales are final. Silkkin is not responsible for the loss or damage of any items after shipment. If you believe your shipment has been lost or stolen, please contact USPS to file a claim.
